Wesel (dansk: Wezel) er en historisk (befæstet) by og hovedstad i det samme distrikt Wesel i delstaten Nordrhein-Westfalen, Tyskland. Wesel ligger ved floden Rhinen, beliggende mellem Ruhr-området og den hollandske grænse ved Bocholt. Byen har 60.750 indbyggere. Wesel har stærke bånd til Holland og dens historie. Under erobringen af Wesel (1629) blev byen befriet fra den spanske besættelse. Under den Trediveårige Krig oplevede byen et stort antal protestantiske hollandske flygtninge, der var flygtet fra de spanske forfølgelser.
