Vitra Design Museum er dedikeret til forskning og udstilling af design fra fortid og nutid, og undersøger forholdet mellem design og arkitektur, kunst og hverdagskultur. Hvert år organiserer Vitra Design Museum op til ti udstillinger om forskellige temaer indenfor design og arkitektur, som kan ses i hovedbygningen af Frank Gehry, i Schaudepot af Herzog & de Meuron og på andre steder på Vitra Campus.
Mange af museumets udstillinger tages også på turné og præsenteres i partnermuseer over hele verden. Grundstenen i Vitra Design Museums arbejde er den unikke samling af møbler, belysning og indretningsdesign. Forhåndsreservation!
