Fachhochskolen i Südwestfalen med hovedkontor i Iserlohn og yderligere steder i Hagen, Meschede, Soest og Lüdenscheid er en ingeniørvidenskabelig, informationsteknologisk samt erhvervs- og landbrugsøkonomisk præget højskole.
Den historisk ældste forgænger til Fachhochskolen var den af den preussiske reformpolitiker Beuth grundlagte erhvervsskole i Hagen den 1. december 1824 for at kvalificere til det Berlinske Kongelige Tekniske Institut, som senere blev til den Statlige Ingeniørskole for Maskinteknik og Elektroteknik og derefter den Märkische Fachhochschule med hovedkontor i Iserlohn og de to steder Iserlohn og Hagen.
