Den evangeliske bykirke i Lengerich i Tecklenburger Land stammer i sin nuværende form fra det 14. og 15. århundrede. Kirken og menigheden tilhører Tecklenburg kirkerne i den evangeliske kirke i Westfalen.
En første kirke blev sandsynligvis opført mellem det 9. og 11. århundrede på Lengericher-ejendommen til damesamfundet i Herford. En anden kirke, som det er sikkert, var bygget af sten, opstod i anden halvdel af det 12. århundrede. Fra det andet kvarter af det 13. århundrede stammer en tredje kirke på samme sted, som der dokumenteres for år 1327, at den husede et alter viet til den hellige Margareta.
