Haus Obereimer var en herregård ejet af kurfyrsterne i Köln og centrum for den fyrstelige dyrehave i Arnsberg. Siden det 19. århundrede har den statslige skovforvaltning i Arnsberg været placeret der. I dag hedder det omgivende bykvarter også Obereimer.
I området af det nuværende bykvarter fandtes der i middelalderen flere gårde, som var afgivelsespligtige til forskellige herrer. Den kurfyrstelige overkellner Hermann Dücker lykkedes det siden 1627 at købe forskellige landområder og godsherrens rettigheder til gårdene og omdanne dem til en riddergård, der var befriet for skatter og bidrag og kunne deltage i landdagen.
