Langbroich ligger cirka fire kilometer nord for Gangelt ved kystvejene 3 og 17. I nærheden af byen ligger naturreservatet Höngener- og Saeffeler Bruch ved Saeffeler Bach.
Ved kraftig regn og ved sne-smeltning strømmer overfladevand fra området Langbroich til Saeffeler Bach og videre over Rodebach til Maas. Saeffeler Bach har en længde på 12,747 km med et samlet opland på 47,479 km².
Kilden til Saeffeler Bach havde oprindeligt sit udspring i Langbroich i området ved delingen mellem Quellstraße og Brauereistraße.
