Poboleda er en spansk kommune i den katalanske region Priorato, i provinsen Tarragona.
I 1163 gav Albert de Castellvell en del af sine jorde til Ramón de Vallbona, som bosatte sig der sammen med andre eremitter. Selvom datoen ikke kendes med sikkerhed, menes det, at disse eremitter omkring 1167 forlod bjergene for at slutte sig til et kartusianerfællesskab på stedet kaldet Populeta.
