Poboleda è un comune spagnolo della comarca catalana del Priorato, nella provincia di Tarragona.
Nel 1163, Albert de Castellvell cedette parte delle sue terre a Ramón de Vallbona, che si stabilì lì insieme ad altri eremiti. Anche se non si conosce con certezza la data, si crede che intorno al 1167 questi eremiti lasciarono le montagne per unirsi a una comunità di certosini nel luogo chiamato Populeta.
