Chevalier-Montrachet er en fransk vin med kontroleret oprindelsesbetegnelse, der produceres på klimaet af Chevalier-Montrachet i Puligny-Montrachet, i Côte-d'Or. Den er klassificeret blandt de store cru'er i vinområdet Côte de Beaune.
Ediktet fra den romerske kejser Domitian i 92 forbød plantning af nye vinstokke uden for Italien; han fik delvist rippet vinstokkene i Bourgogne for at undgå konkurrence. Den resulterende vinmark var tilstrækkelig til de lokale behov. Men Probus annullerede dette edikt i 280. I 312 skrev en disciple af Eumenes den første beskrivelse af vinmarken i Côte d'Or.
