Denne smukke residens, klassificeret som Historisk Monument, ligger midt på Place de la Croix Blanche i Mauléon og er et særlig interessant eksempel på tidlig 1600-tals arkitektur i det store sydvest. Den blev bygget i 1600'erne af Mauléon-manden Arnaud de Maytie. Dette slot beboes stadig af efterkommerne af familien de Maytie, som gav tre biskopper til bispedømmet Oloron.
I slottet kan man beundre smukt udsmykkede pejse og fine møbler. I biblioteket kan besøgende se nogle ærværdige bøger fra det 16. og 17. århundrede.
På loftet opdager man en ramme, der minder om en omvendt skibsskrog.
