Located in Henri Queuille's family home, the museum has been awarded the ‘Maisons des Illustres’ label and is organised around two themes: the career and political activities of President Queuille (1884-1970) and the history of the Resistance in Haute-Corrèze.
Henri Queuille, a major political figure of the Third and Fourth Republics, is ‘the most illustrious of the Corréziens’ according to Jacques Chirac. General de Gaulle's number two in the Provisional Government, he was three times President of the Council and a minister on more than thirty occasions. He was also the founder of the SNCF.
You can also discover the Resistance in Haute-Corrèze, from the beginnings of the war to the first networks, and from the maquis to the Liberation of the département, through unique collections.
