Located in Henri Queuille's family home, the museum has been awarded the "Maisons des Illustres" label, and is organized around two themes: the career and political action of President Queuille (1884-1970), and the history of the Resistance in Haute-Corrèze.
HENRI QUEUILLE, a major political figure of the Third and Fourth Republics, is "the most illustrious of the Corréziens", according to Jacques Chirac. General de Gaulle's second-in-command in the Provisional Government, he was three times President of the Council and a minister on more than thirty occasions. He was also the founder of the SNCF.
THE RESISTANCE IN HAUTE-CORRÈZE, from the beginnings of the war to the first networks, and from the maquis to the Liberation of the department, through unique collections.
