Ballymoe er en landsby i County Galway, Irland. Ballymoe ligger på den vestlige side af floden Suck, der adskiller amterne Galway og Roscommon. Den nationale sekundære vej N60 møder den regionale vej R360 i centrum af landsbyen.
Navnet Béal Átha Mó stammer fra en fæstning, der blev bygget af Meabh fra Connacht, under ordren fra Mogh. Fæstningen og landsbyen ville senere blive kendt som Átha Mogh Mór og Béal Átha Mogh. Byen er nu centrum for et lille landdistriktsområde, der beskæftiger sig med blandet landbrug. Hævede moser, fæstninger og en masseklippe fra straffetiden er kendetegn ved Ballymoe i dag.
