University of Limerick er en offentlig forskningsuniversitet institution i Limerick, Irland. Grundlagt i 1972 som National Institute for Higher Education, Limerick, blev det et universitet i 1989 i overensstemmelse med University of Limerick Act 1989. Det var det første universitet, der blev etableret siden den irske uafhængighed i 1922, efterfulgt af etableringen af Dublin City University senere samme dag.
