På toppen af en af bjergene i Gaiola-distriktet er der boraxblæsere. De er huller i jorden i varierende størrelser, hvor varm luft strømmer ud.
Mellem 1914 og 1948 var Gaiola betjent af sporvognslinjen Cuneo-Borgo San Dalmazzo-Demonte. I øjeblikket betjenes byen af linje 93 Cuneo-Vinadio, drevet af Bus Company.
