Denne jernbanestation i Hoek van Holland blev åbnet den 1. juni 1893. Det lå cirka 700 meter længere vestligt end station Hoek van Holland Haven. På grund af anlægget af Maasvlakte er kystlinjen i 1971 kommet længere ud til havs end da stationen blev åbnet, så stationen herefter ikke længere lå tæt ved stranden, men over en kilometer derfra.
