Hockeyforeningen Weert er den eneste hockeyforening i Weert. Foreningen har over 800 aktive medlemmer og er dermed en af de største sportsforeninger i Weert. Grundlagt den 13. november 1938. Foreningen er tilsluttet den kongelige hollandske hockeyforbund .
"HV Weert" blev grundlagt den 13. november 1938 i Weert af J. Laenen, H. Linssen, J. Gerrits, P. Geene, D. Zandéé, CH. Gemmeke, L. Linnartz og A. Verhagen. Formanden var D. Zandéé. I 1939 blev den første venskabskamp spillet på LSV-grunden. Et år senere blev det andet hold allerede sammensat.
