Park Sonsbeek i Arnhem er den mest kendte park i denne by. Parken er opkaldt efter Anna van Sonsbeeck, en betydningsfuld 'Dame' i det arnhemske samfund i det 17. århundrede. Annas far, Franciscus van Sonsbeeck, kommer fra den tyske by Sonsbeck eller Sonsbeeck. Over hovedindgangen til den lutherske kirke bygget i 1655 i Sonsbeeck ses stadig byens våbenskjold: en sol med nogle bølgede linjer nedenunder, der forestiller en bæk. Parken er 67 ha stor og grænser mod nord op til parkerne Zijpendaal og Gulden Bodem. Disse tre parker ligger tæt på hinanden og er tilsammen cirka 200 ha store. Mod øst grænser Sonsbeek op til kvartererne Sonsbeekkwartier og St. Marten, mod syd næsten til centrum og mod vest til Burgemeesterswijk. Området er et beskyttet bylandskab.
