Wommels er en landsby i Súdwest-Fryslân kommune i provinsen Friesland, Holland. Den havde en befolkning på omkring 2.216 i januar 2017. Landsbyen blev først nævnt i den anden halvdel af det 13. århundrede som Wimelinghe, og betyder "bosættelse af folkene fra Winiwald eller Wimila." Wommels er en terp landsby fra middelalderen. Senere udvidede landsbyen sig langs kanalen.
