Denne sluse blev allerede anlagt i det 17. århundrede for at transportere tørv til Vecht. Det er nu den største passage mellem Vecht og Loosdrecht-søerne, med et fald på ca. 1 meter. Her er der om sommeren en hyggelig travlhed. Når båden ligger i slusen, kan skipperen blive om bord. Resten af selskabet kan så tage en pause for at hente en is eller drink i slusevagtens butik, eller beundre den store samling af særlige kuriositeter.
