Det ældste offentlige bygning i Gooi er rådhuset i Naarden. Efter ødelæggelsen af byen i 1572 begyndte man i 1601 opførelsen af rådhuset. Interiøret i bygningen er for det meste bevaret, bl.a. hallen, Skipperstuen og borgmesterstuen. På loftet findes nu borgerstuen med møbler fra det tidligere Gemeenlandshus fra Erfgooiers.
