I Etten-Leur ved Rijsbergsevej nær Rijsbergen står et monument, en nål af sten, der mindes den første flyvning over Holland i 1909. Monumentet blev afsløret i 1935.
I 1984 blev en ny plade anbragt, og i 2003 et ekstra informationsskilt.
For bilister har kommunen Etten-Leur for nylig fået anlagt to parkeringspladser ved nålen.
