Den nuværende San Salvatorkirke er et eksempel på kursus i kirkelig arkitektur, som blev givet i årene 1953 til 1956 i 's-Hertogenbosch under ledelse af Nico van der Laan. Den har stiltræk fra den Bossche Skole og fra den Neo-romanske arkitektur. Kirken er bygget omkring alteret som midtpunkt. Den fritstående klokketårn er inspireret af "Campanile", som denne blandt andet findes hyppigt ved italienske kirker. I den første skitsemodel var tårnet stadig tilknyttet hovedbygningen, men i det endelige udkast blev der valgt en fritstående placering.
