La actual iglesia de San Salvador es un ejemplo del curso de arquitectura eclesiástica, que se llevó a cabo en 's-Hertogenbosch bajo la dirección de Nico van der Laan entre 1953 y 1956. Tiene características de estilo de la Escuela de 's-Hertogenbosch y de la arquitectura neorrománica. La iglesia está construida alrededor del altar como punto central. El campanario independiente está inspirado en la "Campanile", que se encuentra con frecuencia en iglesias italianas. En el primer modelo de boceto, la torre aún está conectada al edificio principal, pero en el diseño final se eligió una ubicación independiente.
