Surinamepladsen i Amsterdam-Vest forbinder Hoofdweg med Cornelis Lelylaan og er via Surinamestraat forbundet med Overtoom og Amstelveenseweg.
Pladsen blev i 1922 opkaldt efter den siden 1975 uafhængige hollandske koloni Surinam ved den nordlige kyst af Sydamerika. Gaderne i nabolaget nord for pladsen er også opkaldt efter geografiske begreber i Surinam og de hollandske Antiller. Nabolaget blev derfor af kommunen kaldt den Vestindiske bydel, men i dag er dette område kendt som Postjesbuurt.
