Ingeniørfirmaet Grabowsky & Poort fra Hoorn designede hængebroen, der forbinder Kersenboogerd-kvarteret med Schellinkhouterdijk over Provincialevejen. Blå pyloner, hvide stræktråde, brobærer og rækværk. Broen er designet således, at den så vidt muligt bevarer formen på denne del af den vestfrisiske omkringsdæmning, som er et provincialt monument. Brugere skal siden dæmningen blev hævet i 2011 bestige en lille hældning i slutningen.
