Ingenieursbureau Grabowsky & Poort uit Hoorn ontwierp de Tuibrug, die de wijk Kersenboogerd met de Schellinkhouterdijk verbindt, over de Provincialeweg heen. Blauwe pylonen, witte tuidraden, brugliggers en hekwerken. De brug is zo ontworpen dat hij dit deel van de Westfriese Omringdijk, die een provinciaal monument is, zo min mogelijk in zijn vorm aan te tasten. Gebruikers moeten sinds de dijk in 2011 werd verhoogd wel een klein hellinkje op aan het eind.
