La oficina de ingeniería Grabowsky & Poort de Hoorn diseñó el Puente de Cable que conecta el barrio Kersenboogerd con la Schellinkhouterdijk, sobre la Provincialeweg. Pilones azules, cables de suspensión blancos, vigas de puente y barandillas. El puente está diseñado de tal manera que afecta lo menos posible la forma de esta parte de la Digue Circunvalante de Westfrisia, que es un monumento provincial. Los usuarios deben subir una pequeña pendiente al final desde que la dijk se elevó en 2011.
