Oignies-en-Thiérache ist ein Ort an der französischen Grenze in der Provinz Namur. Seit der Gemeindefusion im Jahr 1977 ist es ein Teilgemeinde der belgischen Gemeinde Viroinval. Es hat etwa 800 Einwohner. Das Dorf liegt im großen Wald des 12.000 ha großen Naturparks Viroin-Hermeton mit vielen Wanderwegen. Es gibt einen gut ausgebauten Mountainboardpark Wanyi. Die touristische Infrastruktur beschränkt sich auf einen Ferienpark mit etwa achtzig Chalets, einigen individuellen Ferienwohnungen und einem kleinen Campingplatz.
