Oignies-en-Thiérache è una località al confine con la Francia, nella provincia di Namur. Dal fusione comunale del 1977, è una frazione del comune belga di Viroinval. Conta circa 800 abitanti. Il villaggio si trova nel grande bosco del parco naturale Viroin-Hermeton, che si estende per 12.000 ettari, con molti sentieri escursionistici. C'è un ben attrezzato parco di mountainboard Wanyi. L'infrastruttura turistica è limitata a un parco vacanze di una settantina di chalet, alcune case vacanze singole e un piccolo campeggio.
