Die Bauernhöfe in der Provinz Namur sind sowohl zahlreich als auch bemerkenswert. Der in Falaën, der sehr attraktiv ist, hat die außergewöhnliche Eigenschaft, dass er ab 1664 in mehreren Phasen auf dem Gelände eines alten Bauernhofs aus dem 13. Jahrhundert erbaut wurde. Neben den verstärkten Mauern ist er von Gräben umgeben und hat eine Zugbrücke, die die Verteidigungsanlage, die für die befestigten Burgen typisch ist, zusätzlich verstärkt.
