Le fattorie nella provincia di Namur sono sia numerose che notevoli. Quella di Falaën, che è molto attraente, ha l'incredibile caratteristica di essere stata costruita in diverse fasi a partire dal 1664, su un'area di una vecchia fattoria del XIII secolo. Oltre alle mura rinforzate, è circondata da fossati e ha un ponte levatoio che rinforza ulteriormente la fortificazione, tipica dei castelli fortificati.
