Eben außerhalb des Dorfes Zandvoorde steht ein deutscher Kommandobunker aus dem Jahr 1916. Der Bunker hat 6 Räume und 2 Eingänge. Der Bunker diente als Verbindung zwischen der Frontlinie in Hollebeke und dem Hauptquartier in Komen. Im Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 ist ein Modell zu sehen, sowie einige Gegenstände, die bei der Restaurierung gefunden wurden.
