Justo fuera del centro del pueblo de Zandvoorde se encuentra un búnker de comando alemán de 1916. El búnker tiene 6 habitaciones y 2 accesos. El búnker sirvió como enlace entre la línea del frente en Hollebeke y el cuartel general en Komen. En el Memorial Museum Passchendaele 1917 se puede ver una maqueta, así como algunos objetos que se encontraron durante la restauración.
