Nach uralter Tradition, mit Fachwissen und handwerklicher Sorgfalt wird in der Montenauer Schinkenräucherei der Original Ardenner Schinken hergestellt. Er ist das Ergebnis aufwändiger Handarbeit und wird wie eh und je mit Buchenholz und Wacholderbeeren geräuchert.
Durch große Glasscheiben kann man wochentags den gesamten Fertigungsprozess verfolgen und erfährt in einem Film viel Wissenswertes über den Schinken und seine Geschichte. Der Rundgang ist kostenlos.
