Au fumoir de jambons de Montenau, le jambon d’Ardenne original est fabriqué selon une tradition ancestrale, avec un grand savoir-faire et un soin artisanal. Fruit d’un travail manuel complexe, il est toujours fumé avec du bois de hêtre et des baies de genévrier.
En semaine, il est possible d’y suivre l’ensemble du processus de fabrication à travers de grandes baies vitrées et de visionner un film qui fournit des informations détaillées intéressantes sur le jambon et son histoire. La visite est gratuite.
