Description

Dieser Friedhof nahe dem Nordring in Ypern entstand während der Dritten Schlacht um Ypern im Jahr 1917. Er liegt in der Nähe des größeren New Irish Farm Cemetery. Gefallene Soldaten eines nahegelegenen Lazaretts wurden hier bestattet. Der ursprüngliche Friedhof zählte 87 Gräber, darunter 1 deutsches Grab. Zwischen 1924 und 1926 wurde dieser Friedhof mit der 'Erweiterung' vergrößert und beherbergte 678 Opfer aus den umliegenden Schlachtfeldern und kleineren Friedhöfen.

Die Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) ist als Verwalter für die Pflege dieses Friedhofs zuständig - www.cwgc.org
