Die einst bepflanzte Zufahrt zum Schloss Forreist beginnt an der Gistelse Steenweg. Die Allee wird bereits auf der Kabinettkarte von Ferraris (1770-1778) als Zufahrt, die zu dem ursprünglichen Hofgelände führt, ausgewiesen. Die geradlinige Trasse ist teilweise erhalten, vermutlich seit 1859 mit einer geschwungenen Verlauf in Höhe des Försterhauses. Die Allee ist an der Kreuzung mit der Doornstraße mit zwei (vermutlich versetzten) niedrigen und runden Pilastern ausgestattet, die ursprünglich mit krönenden Vasen versehen waren.
