Park von etwa 6,2 Hektar, gelegen unmittelbar außerhalb der mittelalterlichen Stadtmauer, deren vier Tore im achtzehnten Jahrhundert abgerissen wurden; die Festungsanlagen blieben bis 1890 bestehen. Ursprünglich gehörte das Gelände des Parks zu den weitläufigen Ländereien der Familie d'Aubremé, die ihr Eigentum verkaufte, um die Realisierung eines neuen Wohngebiets in der Nähe des Bahnhofs zu ermöglichen, siehe d'Aubreméstraße.
