Der Verger Namèche liegt im Süden von Charleroi, in der Gemeinde Gerpinnes, und stellt den letzten Überrest eines alten Obstgartens dar, der in den 1940er Jahren noch 55 ha umfasste. Der größte Teil des Geländes besteht aus einer Aufforstung des ehemaligen Obstgartens. Es gibt zwei halboffene Zonen, die von alten Hochstamm-Obstsorten besiedelt sind. Zudem wurde kürzlich ein Teich ausgehoben. Die Flora beherbergt mehrere für die Region interessante Arten, darunter drei Orchideenarten. Dieses Gebiet weist auch eine schöne Vielfalt an Fauna auf (Vögel, Insektenfauna, ...). Seit Oktober 2013 hat der Verger Namèche den Status eines Naturreservats.
