Die historische Wasserburg stammt aus dem fünfzehnten Jahrhundert und ist eine der ältesten im Waasland. Die Burg wurde als Belderbos in der ersten Staffel von Kapitän Zeppos verwendet. Die Burg bildet zusammen mit dem Theater Ter Vesten, der Bibliothek und dem Jugendhaus Togenblik einen Teil der Kulturanlage.
