Diese beiden Taubenschläge stehen seit 1954 im Jardin de la reine. Sie verleihen dem Park das Aussehen eines japanischen Gartens.
Sie wurden auf Stangen montiert, um Ratten auszuweichen . Im Jahr 2015 wurden sie von der Val-Itma-Schule abgebaut und restauriert. Sie fanden ihren Platz mitten im Teich.
Neben Tauben trifft man rund um den Teich auch auf viele Enten . In der Mitte schäumt ein Belüfter auf, um das Wasser für die Fische mit Sauerstoff zu versorgen. Das Wasser im Teich stammt aus der Schelde , die direkt neben dem Park fließt.
