Die Abroxmühle ist vermutlich der Geburtsort von Jan van Abroek (1440-1510), Reformator des Ordens vom Heiligen Grab. Im Jahr 1775 gibt es einen Hinweis auf die Mühle als Ölmühle. Seit 1910, nach einem vollständigen Wiederaufbau, ist sie zu einer Turbine-Mühle geworden. Die Mühlenarbeit wird auf 1894 datiert. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt wird auch nur noch Getreide gemahlen. Nach der Umlegung der Aabeek im Jahr 1961 wird die Mühle außer Betrieb genommen. Das Mühlenhaus ist ein tiefes Haus mit der Spitze senkrecht zur Aabeek. Die Aabeek floss ursprünglich unter dem Mühlenhaus hindurch.
Die Abroxmühle an der Aabeek ist eine Wasserqühle aus 1440. Eine Besichtigung ist zu einem besonderen Anlass und nach Vereinbarung möglich.
