The Abroxmolen is presumably the birthplace of Jan van Abroek (1440-1510), reformer of the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. In 1775, there is a mention of the mill as an oil mill. Since 1910, after a complete reconstruction, it has become a turbine mill. The mill work is dated 1894. From that moment on, only grain is milled. After the diversion of the Aabeek in 1961, the mill fell out of use. The mill house is a deep house with the gable perpendicular to the Aabeek. Originally, the Aabeek flowed underneath the mill house.
The Abroxmolen on the Aabeek is a watermill from 1440. A visit is possible for a special occasion and by appointment.
