Etwa 600 Meter von der als „Coupe-feu du tir“ (Feuerschneise) bekannten Brandschutzmauer entfernt liegt das 1000-Meter-Ziel. Im Gegensatz zu den anderen Zielen ist dieses vom Weg aus gut sichtbar.
In Spa gab es einen großen Schießstand , auf dem bereits 1907 52 Schützen auf einem Komplex aus riesigen Stahlzielen vom Typ Bremer ihrer Leidenschaft frönen konnten.
Die Anlagen waren zum Abfeuern von Waffen auf Entfernungen zwischen 12 und 1.000 Metern geeignet.
