Rieden ist eine Ortsgemeinde im Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz in Rheinland-Pfalz. Sie gehört der Verbandsgemeinde Mendig an. Der in einem alten Vulkankessel gelegene Ort wird auch als Steinmetzdorf bezeichnet. Rund um den Ort wird der Riedener Tuff, ein vulkanischer Tuff, abgebaut.
Der Ort Rieden liegt ca. 40 km nordwestlich der Stadt Koblenz und ca. 13 km nördlich der Stadt Mayen.
