Die Burgruine Güntersburg steht südwestlich von Stadt Güntersberge, Ortsteil der Stadt Harzgerode im sachsen-anhaltischen Landkreis Harz im Mittelgebirge Harz.
Die Ruine befindet sich südlich des Kohlbergs im Selketal. Bei der mit ca. 3 ha sehr großen Anlage handelt es sich vermutlich um eine befestigte Siedlung mit einer Burg. Nordwestlich war die Anlage durch einen Wall und einen 150 m langen Graben gesichert, dessen Ausmaße noch heute gut zu erkennen sind. Südöstlich ist die Anlage durch den steil ins Selketal abfallenden Hang begrenzt.
