Die Karte befindet sich im Zentrum eines Parks, in dem Sie auch ein Picknick machen und nach Ihrem Abenteuer eine Tasse Kaffee und Gebäck genießen können. Diese erstaunliche Attraktion ist das Werk eines Mannes, Søren Poulsen, der die Karte mit einfachen Handwerkzeugen, einer Schubkarre und einem Handwagen gebaut hat. Die Inseln wurden auf einem Teich aus Erde und Stein errichtet. Seine Idee für die Karte entstand, nachdem er einen Stein auf seinem Grundstück bemerkte, der die Form der Jütland-Halbinsel hatte. Poulsen begann das Projekt 1944 und arbeitete 25 Jahre daran, bis zu seinem Tod im Jahr 1969. Jährlich besuchen etwa 35.000 Menschen die Attraktion.
