Der Coll de Rates verbindet Parcent mit Tàrbena über die Sierra del Carrascar de Parcent. Der Pass liegt auf einer Höhe von 626 Metern. An der Spitze (und am Fuß von Parcent) gibt es einen Stoppomat, der es dir ermöglicht, deine Kletterzeit zu registrieren. Was viele nicht wissen, ist, dass man an der Spitze der Hauptstraße abzweigen und zu den Antennen, die etwa 300 Meter höher liegen, hinaufsteigen kann. Zuerst gibt es etwa 250 Meter unbefestigten Weg. Dann erreichst du den Gipfel über einen Betonweg. Der Abschnitt zu den Antennen ist auch der steilste der gesamten Strecke.
