Coll de Rates verbindt Parcent met Tàrbena door de Sierra del Carrascar de Parcent.
Het colbord staat op 626 meter hoogte. Boven (en beneden in Parcent) bevindt zich een Stoppomat, waarmee je je klimtijd kunt vastleggen. Wat velen niet weten is dat je op de top van de doorgaande weg kunt afslaan en kunt doorklimmen naar de antennes die zo'n 300 meter hoger staan. Je krijgt dan eerst zo'n 250 meter onverharde weg. Daarna ga je via een betonnen weg naar de top. Het gedeelte naar de antennes is ook het steilste van de gehele beklimming.
